AdventureBumms is well-known for its one-off custom campers, and the company has recently released details of a Sprinter AWD van receiving a new identity. It is a 2021 model that has now gained a lot of equipment inside that makes living extremely comfortable and the ride, more pleasant.

Storage sits at the center of the build. In fact, much of the layout revolves around it.

The roof carries a Vanspeed rack paired with two 100 W solar panels. The same setup provides mounting locations for equipment, accessories, and a StarLink antenna. Around back, the van wears an Avatar ski box along with a ladder and spare-tire carrier assembly. Baja Designs fog lamps appear in the front bumper, while aftermarket wheels and all-terrain tires help prepare the Sprinter for rougher routes.

Another detail changes the way the interior works. AdventureBumms fitted body flares, sometimes referred to as pods or capsules, which increase width and allow the bed arrangement to run east-to-west instead of the traditional north-to-south direction. Each flare contains a window with a sliding screen.

Step inside and the approach becomes clear. No partition separates the cab from the living area. Driver and passenger seats sit on swivel bases, transforming the front section into additional seating when parked. The customer selected blue-grey coin tile flooring, grey Baltic birch wall panels, a bamboo ceiling, and a GoCode Overland black trim package.

Then there is the L-Track system.

AdventureBumms installed Lost Hiway L-Track rails throughout the floor, walls, and ceiling. The mounting system supports overhead cabinets, cargo restraints, and a wide range of accessories. Behind the driver’s seat, a wall-mounted flip-up table creates a workspace or dining area. Two outlets sit nearby.

There is no kitchen. That choice frees additional interior space and removes the need for dedicated plumbing hardware. Above the living area, three soft overhead cabinets measure 48 inches, or 122 centimeters, in length. Since they attach directly to the track system, relocation or removal takes little effort.

The rear section uses a Van Essential modular bed platform built from four panels. Owners can arrange all four into a larger sleeping surface, switch to a three-panel setup, or create a couch or dinette configuration. A tri-fold Roam Rest mattress moves according to whichever layout is selected.

Climate control duties fall to a Nomadic air-conditioning unit and an Espar diesel heater equipped with a high-altitude kit. Light pods and power-system controls are integrated into the bedroom area.

Beneath the bed sits an open garage reachable from both inside and outside the van. Aluminum storage boxes line each side. One stores gear. The other houses a 24 V electrical system built around a 200 Ah lithium battery and a 3,000 W inverter/charger. Charging sources include solar power, shore power, and DC-DC charging from the alternator while the engine runs.

AdventureBumms skipped a few traditional camper comforts, yet the result focuses heavily on equipment transport, sleeping space, and off-grid travel. For buyers who place gear capacity ahead of luxury, that balance appears intentional.
