Future Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Render Brings Back V8 Performance Talk

A digital proposal for a faster fifth generation Jeep Grand Cherokee surfaced online through Instagram creator @kelsonik, where a regular SUV shape receives a sharper performance treatment and a new SRT identity. The result stays close to the current production body, though several visible changes shift the tone toward a road-focused version.

The render starts from the latest Grand Cherokee and keeps the two-tone exterior untouched. The roof and upper body contrast remain in place, with no color revision across the side profile. Wheel arch proportions change first, because larger wheels fill the openings more fully than on the standard vehicle. At a glance the SUV seems lower, though the source notes suspension height itself does not lose even a fraction of an inch.

Front-end revisions carry most of the visual difference. Side markers disappear. The bumper gains wider openings both near the corners and across the center section. Main lighting units look darker, with smoked clusters replacing the original finish.

Rear work follows the same direction. Tail lamps also receive a smoked appearance. A fresh bumper arrives with side vents and a diffuser shaped for a sportier look. Openings in the lower section leave room for large exhaust outlets on both sides.

The artist also shared before-and-after images, which make each exterior adjustment easier to identify against the regular fifth generation base. Nothing drastic changes in body shape, though the package moves far enough away from the donor SUV to suggest a factory performance derivative.

The source treats the rendering as an unofficial Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, not a confirmed product. One opinion included there argues a fuller Trackhawk-type treatment would still need more work. A hood scoop, flared arches, more aggressive bumpers, two extra exhaust tips, revised brakes, bucket seats, reworked suspension, dedicated load and sub-menus for the dual screens, plus extra cabin changes all appear in that comparison.

Engine discussion moves toward familiar territory. A 6.2 liter supercharged V8 enters the conversation as the ideal finishing piece for a true Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk return.

Still, the same source places such an outcome near zero in likelihood. The latest Grand Cherokee shares ties with the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, Alfa Romeo Giulia, Maserati Grecale, Maserati GranTurismo and Maserati GranCabrio. At the same time, Dodge is described as open to reintroducing the Hellcat mill for the new Charger.

A fresh Trackhawk does not appear close. An SRT version built around this visual direction still leaves room for debate, and for now, the render fills that gap.
