The star of today’s show is the one-off Ford F-150, which has gone through such an extensive transformation that its creators gave it a new name altogether. They call it the “Bullet,” and according to them, it is the world’s only XTF fitted with wet-carbon bodywork so far.

The project is based on a 2020 Ford F-150 and is called the XTF Bullet Edition. Its development involved Jimmy Vella and the team at Coastal Classic Cars in Jupiter, Florida. The process was far from quick, either, as the build reportedly required more than 400 hours of research, development, and assembly before the truck reached its current form.

Power is one of the main talking points, as the F-150 comes with a 5.0-liter V8 Coyote engine with some important tweaks that make it churn out no less than 750 horsepower. The most important engine upgrade is the new Whipple supercharger. This is also more than the Raptor R`s 720 horsepower.

The whole engine setup is hooked to a ten-speed automatic transmission that sends the massive power to all wheels. However, to keep all that power under control, the F-150 in question received new brake upgrades.

Off-road capability was clearly part of the plan as well. The truck received suspension modifications designed to significantly increase travel. Up front, the system allows up to 16 inches of movement, while the rear can extend to as much as 20 inches. All four multi-spoke wheels are wrapped in Mickey Thompson tires, finished in bronze, a combination designed to maintain grip whether the vehicle is driving on clear roads or rough terrains.

And speaking of driving on rough terrain, this is no garage ornament truck, as the model’s odometer shows 32,231 miles over 6 years of use on different roads. The team behind this gorgeous build has stated that the truck was extensively tested to strengthen its street performance and ensure long-term drivability. As for costs involved, details remain undisclosed for the moment.

The opportunity to own it will come soon to any person who is interested in it. Ford F-150 Bullet XTF Carbon Edition will be auctioned at Barrett-Jackson in mid-April in Palm Beach, South Florida, with no reserve. Among the details that the potential buyers might wish to remember is that the truck may not comply with the emissions requirements that exist in all 50 states.
